Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Dixon, age 84 of Gun Barrell City, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Marion, LA with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery near Marion under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barbara married Mr. James Dixon in 1984. They resided in Marion for almost 20 years and attended First Baptist Church in Marion. They moved to Gun Barrell City, Texas where Mrs. Barbara worked in the Banking Industry as a Secretary and in accounts. Mrs. Barbara loved to play Canasta, traveling, and shopping. She loved people and loved making friends.

Mrs. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Alvia Holland Tucker.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years James Dixon; son Jeffrey Levins; four step daughters Tina Eldredge (Travis), Sherrie Lynn Ruby, Debbie Wilkerson, and Cindy Smith; step son James Wayne Dixon (Donna); 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and her half-sister Susie Brammer.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Marion, LA.
