Funeral services for Anthony (Tony) Michael Mauro, Jr., 61, of Farmerville will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Beulah Baptist Church, near Farmerville, with Bro. Daniel Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Mauro went to his heavenly home on September 28, 2018. Tony was born on July 4, 1957 to Anthony Michael Mauro & Rose Marsalone Mauro and was raised in Gretna, La. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and was blessed to be good in every sport he participated in.

Mr. Mauro was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law, Junior Hepting; father and mother-in-law, Marvin & Merle Lockwood; sister-in-law, JoAnn Terrell; and daughter-in-law, Michelle Tucker.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 42 years, Janice Lockwood Mauro; two sons, Anthony Michael Mauro, III and Marvin Alex Mauro & wife, Sarah, all of Farmerville; one brother, Tommy Mauro & wife, Tracy, of New Orleans; one sister, Lillian Hepting of Marrero, La.; two wonderful grandsons, Christian Allen Mauro and Jayce Michael Mauro; three nieces, Ann Marie Hepting, Alison Hepting Lee & husband, Lance and Monican Temple & husband, Marc; three nephews, Thomas Mauro, Blake Mauro and Billy Ruby; and several great nieces, along with many cousins and friends, all whom Tony loved very much.

Pallbearers will be Gary Johnson, Michael Johnson, Steven Johnson, Barry Lockwood, William Ashcraft and Johnny Barnhill.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Beulah Baptist Church from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.
