Funeral services for Mrs. Annis Marie Burnham, age 70 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Culbertson Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Jennings and Bro. Kelly Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Culbertson Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Annis was the youngest of five children and was raised on a farm in Winnsboro, Louisiana. She always had a smile for everyone, and anyone who met her loved her instantly. She had a wonderful sense of humor, even through hardships, and was an inspiration to many. She was a well-loved member of the Culbertson Baptist Church family, acting as a Sunday School teacher and former music director, among many other roles. Annis served the Union Parish community at Claiborne Electric for 19 years. She was a kind and loving mother, wife, and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Mrs. Annis was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Gene Burnham; her parents Woodrow and Annie Pearl Siddon Smith; and her siblings Terry Phillips, Dale Phillips, Linda Jacques, and James Roy Smith.

She is survived by her children Heath Burnham and Jenny Burnham; sister in laws Sue Jordan and Dianne Phillips; her brother-in-law Dayton Burnham; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and neighbors.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Phillips Danny Frazier, Dale Putman, Steven Wade, Andy Curry, and
James Norwood. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tig Gates and Jimmy Spillers.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
