Funeral services for Ann Stone-Heard, 81, of Spearsville will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Spearsville Baptist Church with Bro. James Miller officiating and music by Tim Post Burial will be in Spearsville Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

She retired as a dispatcher from Ensco and clerk at the Union Parish landfill and went to her heavenly home September 25, 2016. She was a member of Spearsville Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School class. Known as an excellent cook, especially for her chicken and dressing, an accomplished seamstress and was active in Woodman of the World and Union Council on Aging. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Stone; and parents, Guy and Nellie Henderson.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Johnny Glyn Heard of Spearsville, La.; three daughters, Teresa Bruno & husband, Randy of Hot Springs Village, Ar., Beverly Willett & husband, Frank of El Dorado, Ar., and Jennifer Lenard & husband, Stanley of Spearsville, La.; one step-daughter, Tammy Singleton & husband, Ken of Arcadia, La.; one sister-in-law, Janet Stone Martin of Pea Ridge, La.; six grandchildren, Jessica Nunnally Janes & husband, Carey, Justin Pepper & wife, Stacy, Johnathan Nunnally, Jolie Pepper Harrison & husband, Andy, Adam Willett & wife, Katy and Nathan Willett & wife, Hannah; two step-grandchildren, Michael John Lenard & wife Brandi and Chandler Singleton; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers will be George Stone, Bruce Patton, Richard Phelps, Jimmy Martin, Curtis Thomas. Russell Deason and Joe Barron.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26, 2016 from 5:00 pm -8:00 pm at Spearsville Baptist Church.
