Funeral services for Ms. Angela McCalman, age 65 of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Marion, LA with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Marion, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Angie graduated from Marion High School, and also attended Farmerville Vo-Tech. Being around family and sharing their many milestones together was a highlight for Angie. She especially enjoyed and looked forward to family gatherings and breaking bread together. Angie will be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes and smile. She never met a stranger and was always quick to speak to anyone she came in contact with. Angie was a member of First Baptist Church, Marion.
Angie was preceded in death by her mother: Mary Lee McCalman; and maternal grandparents: Willie and Desser Farrar Baker.
She is survived by her three sisters: Jeanette Kirkland (Jeffrey), Judy Hoffman (Henry "Tuffy"), and Cindy Medlin (Charlie); nieces and nephews: Jennifer Scarborough (Bill), Jeremy Brantley (Hope), Clay Reppond (Abby), Brad Medlin, and Whitney Medlin; great nieces and nephews: Morgan Joiner (Michael), Andrew Brantley (Kaitlyn), Josh Brantley, Jackson Brantley; Brady Reppond (Kerstin), Taylor Reppond and very special great niece, Taytum Medlin, whom Aunt Angie doted on and loved as her very own; great-great nieces and nephews: Prentice Joiner, Arabella Joiner, Elora Joiner, Autumn Brantley, Eden Brantley, Emory Brantley, and great-great-great-nieces Harper Reppond and Hadley Reppond; Uncle Billy Floyd "LuLu" Baker and Aunt Virginia "Kate" Baker, and numerous cousins and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Medlin, Jeremy Brantley, Andrew Brantley, and Josh Brantley. Honorary pall bearers will be Edward (EK) Koserog, and Bill Scarborough.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Marion.
