Funeral services for Amelia Bean Chipmon, 49, of Farmerville will be held at 2:00pm Friday, May 27, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Cole officiating. Burial will be in Longstraw Cemetery in Choudrant under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Chipmon went to her heavenly home May 25, 2016. She resided in Choudrant/Ruston area for many years, but was a resident of Farmerville for the past several years. She was a grocery clerk with Big Star in Farmerville for a number of years. She enjoyed baking and excelled in cake decorating. Ameila was a talented artist and enjoyed making arts & crafts. She was a baptist and attended the First Baptist Church in Farmerville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Ellis Chipmon; and her parents: John Philip Bean and Mary Nell Beeson Bean.

Left to cherish her memory are her 2 sons: Vince Chipmon and Tiffany Dodd of Farmerville and Tyler Chipmon; 2 daughters: Savannah Chipmon of Farmerville and Roxanne Chipmon Greer & husband, David of Wyatt, LA; 2 sisters: Gay Nell Barth & husband, Alan of Monroe and Marijohn Johnston & husband, Frank of Sylvester, GA; and 7 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Andrew White, Roy White, Vince Chipmon, Tyler Chipmon, Joe Robertson and David Greer.

Visitation is 5-8pm Thursday at Farrar Funeral Home.
