A graveside services for Alberta Lucille Reppond, 99, will be held August 3 at 10:00 A.M., at Reppond Cemetery in Marion, La. with Dewey Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. till 5:00 P.M. on August 2, 2022, in Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.

Alberta Lucille Reppond was born February 28, 1923, in Elkhart, IL and passed away July 29, 2022, in Farmerville, LA. Mrs. Alberta was a loving mother, grandmother, and the dearest friend that anyone could have. Mrs. Alberta was a member of Dean Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. Her friends and family said that if Mrs. Alberta loved you, she had this way of showing it with all of heart and soul, you never had to wonder if she truly cared about you. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Mrs. Alberta is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Reppond; her daughters Melody Collier and Glory Mooberry; and her five siblings.

Alberta is survived by her children, Anita Dickinson (Dennis) of The Woodlands, TX, Charles E. Messersmith (Raytha) of Manassas, VA., and Jim "Butch" Reppond of Downsville, LA; grandchildren, Mark Dickison, Lori Wall, Robert Dickison (Betsy), Holly Mooberry, Renee Jones (Matt), Roni Jones (Brad), Ben Collier, and Amanda Allbritton (Brandon); 15 great-grandchildren, along with numerous great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Arbor Lake Nursing Home and special friends, Sharon McKinnie and Dewey Rhodes, for their kindness and compassion shown to their mother over the last few years.
