Rodney Kevin Nale

Rodney “Kevin” Nale, born October 19, 1964, passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 61. A Celebration of Life honoring Kevin will be held at Chasing Aces in Bossier City on Thursday, August 27th from 5:00-7:00 PM. All who knew and loved Kevin are invited to join for food, drinks, and an evening celebrating a life so well lived. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 28, 2026 at Bird's Chapel Methodist Church in Marion, LA, with Bro. Glyn Nale officiating. Interment will follow at Bird's CHapel Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Kevin was someone who made an impression wherever he went. He had a way of making people smile, a contagious laugh that could fill a room, and a smile as bright as they come. He never met a stranger, and those who knew him will remember the warmth, humor, and unmistakable personality he brought everywhere he went.

Kevin began his professional career as a disability paralegal, where he spent his time helping others navigate some of life’s most difficult circumstances. He later transitioned into community management, working with senior and affordable housing communities. Throughout his career, his work reflected something that came naturally to him, the ability to connect with people and make them feel seen.

A Louisiana man through and through, Kevin loved everything about his home state. He was a loyal New Orleans Saints fan, loved hunting, and believed good food was meant to be shared. Few things made him happier than crawfish or getting into the kitchen to cook a pot of gumbo or jambalaya for the people he loved.

Above everything else, Kevin loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband and an extraordinary father. His relationship with his daughter, Christina, was especially close, and the two shared a bond that went far beyond father and daughter, they were best friends. Kevin was a constant presence in her life, and his love, advice, humor, and friendship will be carried with her always.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Theresa Nale; his daughter, Christina Nale, and her future husband, Tyler Anastasia; his brother-in-law, Dan, and his wife, Kerri; his sister-in-law, Dana Nale; as well as his cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Nale; his parents, Bobby and Jarilyn Nale; his in-laws, Jim and Joy Camp; and several beloved grandparents and family members.

Kevin’s life cannot be summed up simply by the years he lived or the work he did. He will be remembered in the sound of a familiar laugh, a Saints game on Sunday, the smell of gumbo cooking on the stove, a Louisiana crawfish boil, old hunting stories, and the countless memories that still make the people who loved him smile.

His absence leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of those who loved him, but so does the love he left behind.

Kevin will be deeply missed, endlessly remembered, and forever loved.
