Patricia Louise Bolding Ball, lovingly named by her husband as "Patty Lou," passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at the age of 85. She was born on January 25, 1941, to Clifton and Effie Mae Bolding.

Pat married the love of her life, James "Richard" Ball, on June 10, 1958. Together they built a life centered around faith and family. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was an avid sports fan and could always be found cheering on those she loved. From watching her husband and boys race dirt track race cars to following basketball, softball, tennis, volleyball, and countless other sporting events, she rarely missed a game. She especially cherished traveling to watch her grandchildren compete and took great pride in their accomplishments.

Known for her exceptional cooking, she loved preparing large family feasts, always making sure her boys and family were fed. She took great pride in her meals and homemade pies. Her home was a gathering place filled with love, laughter, and the smell of a home-cooked meal.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Richard Ball; her son, Richard Ray Ball; and her great-granddaughter, Jaelyn.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Alvin (Debbie) Ball and Darren (Dawn) Ball; her grandchildren, Waylon (Halie) Ball, Jamie (Strick) Rodgers, Joel (Summer) Ball, Candace Brock, Ashley (Cody) Ebey, Patricia (Matthew) Fife, Brandon (Tiffany) Ball, and Beth Ann (Kyle) Hicks; and her fifteen great-grandchildren, Wyatt Ball, Hayden Ball, Lawson Ball, Finley Williams, Benton Ball, Briar Ball, River Albritton, Hunter Adkins, Mercedes Wallace, Natalie Fife, Hope Fife, Ashlynn Fife, Mattison Fife, Bralyn Ball, and Jonah Hicks.

Visitation will be held between 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Farrar  Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow. Interment will be at Harper Springs Cemetery. The service will be led by Joel Ball.

Serving as pallbearers will be Waylon Ball, Brandon Ball, Hunter Adkins, Matthew Fife, Kyle Hicks, James "Junior" Pridgen, and Cody Ebey.

Patricia's legacy of love, strength, devotion to family, and unwavering support of those she cherished will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
