Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Kennedy Pardue, age 90 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. David Byrnes and Bro. Rubin Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Grace was a lifelong member of Antioch Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and served him as long as she was able. She graduated from Farmerville High School. After graduating, she went to work as a phone operator at Bell South. Grace also worked at the garment factory in Bernice, Sears store in Farmerville, and Central American Life Insurance.

In 1954, she married the love of her life, "Popeye". Together for 71 years, they raised four daughters and their love never wavered. She loved her family dearly and always cared for them in a special way. Summer trips with the grandkids to Hot Springs and Branson were some of the most favorite times she looked forward to. Sunday dinners and Christmas Eves were just a couple of the favorite memories. As time passed, she spent more time with the love of her life pipelining all over the country.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Shep and Minnie Rogers Kennedy; daughters, Sherry Acree, Phyllis Temple, and Toni Key; great granddaughter, Olivia Byrnes; and five brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Lonnie "Popeye" Pardue; daughter, Charlotte Cranford (Bill); grandchildren, Clay Farris (Holly), Josh Acree (Kim), Jeremy Farris, Caleb Temple (Candy), Brent Cranford, Shane Cranford (Emily), Jessica Bishop (Dustin), April Byrnes (Robert), Jenny Wade (Matt), and Candace Elliott; sister, Helen Hogan (Kent); son in laws, Darvin Acree(Sissy) and Royce Temple (Pat); sister in law, Nobie Kennedy; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons Clay Farris, Josh Acree, Jeremy Farris, Shane Cranford, Brent Cranford, Caleb Temple, Robert Byrnes, Matt Wade, and Dustin Bishop.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7: 00 PM, Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Antioch Baptist Church.
