Funeral services for Paula Jeanette Kendrick, age 69 of Bernice, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Bernice Methodist Church. Interment will be at Williamson Cemetery in Arcadia, LA, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Paula was a 1973 graduate of Arcadia High School, where she graduated a year early. After high school she attended Ruston Technical College and graduated with her LPN. Paula retired as an MDS Coordinator from Town and Country Nursing and Rehab, where she worked on and off for 30 years. She enjoyed being at the lake, fishing, crocheting, arts and crafts, coca cola, and ChapStick. Paula loved antique shopping and could never turn away a stray animal. Her favorite way to spend time though was with family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Paula was preceded in death by her father, Robert Paul Towns, Sr.; son, Charles Robert Johnson; nephew, Patrick Ross Towns; sister-in-law, Carol Towns; maternal grandparents, Clive and Jeanette Templeton; and paternal grandparents, Robie and Ella Towns.

She is survived by daughter, Lindsay Sandifer; mother, Laura Templeton Towns; grandchildren, Danika Sandifer, Leecia Washington, Natalie Washington, Jaden Johnson, Cohen Johnson, and James Johnson; sisters, Tammy Karriker (Ronnie), Robin Towns, and Lisa Moore (John); brothers, Jimmy Towns, Randall Towns (Flora), and Robert Paul Towns, Jr. (Thessie); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Towns, Kyle Taylor, Grant Brewster, Jimmy Towns, Randy Towns, and Jim Kendrick. Honorary pallbearers will be JR Fuller, Jeff Fleming, Justin Burnham, Roy Jacobs, James Towns, and Tony Karriker.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM, prior to the service, at Bernice Methodist Church, Saturday, June 27, 2026.
