Funeral services for David A. Thomas, 89, of Spearsville will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, November 11, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dewayne Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Canaan Cemetery, near Spearsville, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Thomas passed away on November 7, 2019. Mr. Thomas loved spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing, and was a proud Veteran of the Korean War. He dearly loved his grandchildren.

Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his mother; father; five siblings; and daughter-in-law, Donna M. Thomas.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, David E. Thomas and Steve A. Thomas and wife, Shonda J.; four sisters, Helen Ramsey, Juliann Harbor,  Janelle Schneider and Lucille Cottrell; four grandchildren, Chris E. Thomas, Curtis A. Thomas and wife, Melissa, James A. Thomas & wife, Ashleigh and Amber W. Thomas; four great-grandchildren, Hailey Thomas, Avery Thomas, Easton J. Thomas and Brooks J. Thomas; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 11, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
