Memorial services for Billie Beaird, 19, of Spearsville will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Mt. Union Baptist Church, near Spearsville with Bro. Marcell McGee officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery, near Spearsville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Ms. Beaird passed away on February 1, 2020. Billie was a graduate of Junction City High School Class of 2018. She attended Loyola University in New Orleans where she studied Art and Film. Billie was accomplished in all forms of art and had numerous published short stories. She taught herself how to play many instruments including the guitar, the saxophone and she also loved playing the piano by ear. Billie loved her friends and was a very determined young lady in her beliefs. She didn't converse much, but when she did, people listened. Billie also attended several churches in the Junction City area.
Ms. Beaird was preceded in death by her mother, Casey K. Beaird; grandfather, Ricky Beaird, great grandparents, Billy Arnold; grandparents, James and Jo Ann Bayless; and aunt, Rhonda Jones.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Willow Beaird; grandparents, Robin Goleman & husband, Jim; father, Chris Bayless; brother, Kievan Bayless & wife, Amanda; sister, Amber Edmondson; maternal great-grandparents, Perry & Shirley Murray; aunt, Sierra Harbour & husband, Ben; uncle, Jeremy Winter; great-uncle, Pat Arnold & wife, Jeri; numerous cousins, many other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kievan Bayless, Jacob Fondren, Jordan Green, Pat Arnold, Jim Goleman and Chris Bayless.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Mt. Union Baptist Church , 2736 Hwy. 15 Spearsville, Louisiana 71277. Any donations maybe made to Farrar Funeral Home at 312 Smith Street, Farmerville, La. 71241.
